Vusi was born in Benoni, Gauteng Province, South Africa, on the East Rand, on March 21, 1985. Benini High School was where he completed his secondary education. As a result, he gained a reputation as an entrepreneur, and his name became well-known. In 2010, he was named director of Metcash Group. In the Metcash Group, he obtained the highest EDITDA score. Global Professional South Africa is now owned and operated by Thembekwayo. He also serves as the CEO of a small African investment and advisory firm.

He founded his own company, Global Professional SA. His ambition for 2030 is to develop 300 long-term black businesses. Vusi, who has invested in a range of enterprises, is one of the wealthiest South Africans under the age of 35.
