Aaron Arthur Ferguson popularly known as Shona Ferguson was born on the 30th of April, 1972, in Gaborone, Botswana, to South African parents. Despite being born to South African parents, he is of Botswana descent due to being born and raised there during his youth. His parents well-trained him, and he became someone society respected until his demise.
Shona’s educational background was not much, as he decided to pursue a career in music after completing his basic and high school education. Growing up, he had much love and passion for music and moved to Lesotho to become a Disc Jockey. Furthermore, he acquired training in many fields, including IT and Business Development, before fully going into Show Business.
Shona Ferguson kicked off his career as a Dj in 1992 when he performed at the Palace Hotel Night Club in Lesotho. He later returned to Botswana and worked in the IT Department of EDUTECH. He was regarded as a top sales person by his colleague and earned the award of Top Sales Manager between 1998 to 1999 in EDUTECH. Furthermore, he was introduced into the movie industry and has featured in many movies and Tv shows, including Ace and Muvhango (2006) and Itumeleng (2011 to 2013). Before his death, Shona Ferguson was a co-owner of a film company, “Ferguson Films,” which he managed and ran with his wife, Connie Ferguson. The company has produced top-notch movies, including The Herd, The Imposter, and Kings of Joburg, which is currently a Netflix series.
