If you have forgotten your NSFAS password then follow these easy steps:

  • Go to the myNSFAS student portal.
  • Click on Forgot your password? Click here
  • Enter your ID number.
  • Click on I can’t remember my password. Then click on SUBMIT.

How To Update Your Contact Details On The MyNSFAS Student Portal?

Once you have followed these four easy steps then your password will be sent to your registered cell phone number and e-mail address.

If you would like to change your contact details, you may do so by following these easy steps:

  • Login to the myNSFAS student portal by clicking here.
  • Enter your username and password, then click SIGN IN!
  • Click on My Personal Details.
  • Remove the incorrect information then update your contact details.
  • Click on Update Your Details, to save all the changes you have made.

Once you have followed these five steps then your contact details will be updated.

How Do You Check if NSFAS Has Funded You?

NSFAS has confirmed that from the 6th of January 2020, students will find out if they are funded or not. If you have not yet received any information, do not panic. All you have to do is keep an eye on your application status.

In order to access your application status:

  • Login on the myNSFAS student portal via this link: https://bit.ly/2SWFVh3
  • Enter your username and password, then click SIGN IN!
  • Click on Track Funding Progress.

Once you have followed these three easy steps, you will be able to see whether you are funded or not. It may take some time for your application to be successful so please be patient.
