He made his debut in 1984 in the horror film “Nightmare on Elm Street” and rose to fame in the TV series “21 Jump Street” which aired between 1987 to 1990.

Johnny Depp whose real name is John Christopher Depp II was born on the 9th of June, 1963, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to waitress Betty Sue Palmer and civil engineer John Christopher Depp. Depp’s family constantly moved during his childhood, with a final settlement in Miramar, Florida, in 1970.
His parent got divorced in 1978, and his mother remarried Robert Palmer, whom Depp regards as an inspiration. Depp dropped out of Miramar High School at 16 and began a career in music in 1979. He featured in “The Kids,” a band group, and got into his first marriage in 1983 when he married the sister of his fellow singer. After the band ended, he did different jobs and even wrote songs for many people.
