The SA 2019 breakout star of the year was born on the 28th of May in 1996 in Pretoria, South Africa. He grew up in a neighborhood where children and schools were deeply invested in football. The superstar became a soccer player and adopted the moniker Maradona Pitori. Sebesto Lebatho, on the other hand, is his genuine name.
The University of Pretoria is Lebatho’s alma mater, where he studied Political Science.

His single “Ke Star,” featuring Virgo Deep, was released in April 2020. With 25 000 copies sold, “Ke Star” was certified gold. His remix “Ke Star,” featuring Davido and Virgo Deep, was released globally in February 2021.
The track was a huge international hit, reaching number 16 on Billboard’s Top Thriller Global list in the United States. He was nominated for seven awards at the 2021 All Africa Music Awards, including Best Male Artiste, Artiste of the Year, Best African Collaborations, Best African Dance Artiste, Best African Electro Artiste, Breakout Artiste of the Year, and Song of the Year.
He headlined the AmaFest Tour in the UK in early September 2021 to further promote the Amapiano genre. President Ya Straata, his studio Extended Play, was released on September 27 with the lead track “16 Days No Sleep,” which featured Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, and Mellow & Sleazy.
He was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2021 for Best African Act. In the same year, he released “Champion Sound,” a collaboration with Davido, an Afrobeats musician.
