If you have not yet receive your coronavirus stimulus payment, you’re not alone.
In fact, millions of people have yet to get their check.
You can supply your information via the IRS’ Get My Payment app, which was set up to track the status of your payment.
“Starting later this month, the number of paper checks being delivered to taxpayers will sharply increase,” the IRS said in a press release.
“We’re working hard to get more payments quickly to taxpayers,” said IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig. “We want people to visit Get My Payment before the noon Wednesday deadline so they can provide their direct deposit information. Time is running out for a chance to get these payments several weeks earlier through direct deposit.”
The stimulus checks were funded through a $2 trillion package from the federal government that includes $250 billion for direct payment to Americans, in addition to money for small businesses, unemployment insurance, health-care costs and more.
HOW MUCH WILL YOU GET?
Non-married individuals who filed a tax return with an adjusted gross income of up to $75,000 in 2018 will be eligible for a check of $1,200.
Payments are reduced for singles earning up to $99,000 — and they drop $5 for every $100 in income above $75,000, according to the IRS.
Individuals who earned more than $99,000 will not receive a check.
