Mandisa Radebe was born on the 30th of May 1993 in Durban, South Africa but grew up in Pretoria then later left for France. It was after returning from France that she picked up an interest in music. Her father is one of the most influential politicians in the country and his name is, Jeff Radebe whilst her mother’s name is Bridgette Motsepe. She has two siblings namely, Malaika Radebe and Vukani Radebe.
Her father happens to be the cousin of the current President of South Africa as of the time this post was last published, President Cyril Ramaphosa. Jeff Radebe is a member of ANC who was once the Minister of Energy. On her maternal side, she is related to Patrice Motsepe, a popular business and the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Little is known about her educational background but we do know she holds a degree in law.
Career
Although she has been a disk jockey for a few years now but remains new within the industry. For a very long time, the Amapiano had always wanted to be a disk jockey but this was a profession that her family didn’t really find appealing or rendered support to thanks to the family’s status in society.
It was in 2018, that she first made her appearance in the industry and became very popular when she featured on Channel O’s Lockdown House Party.
She always had a love for music and now she has made her way into the industry, becoming one of the most sought-after DJs in South Africa in a short span of time.
