Bonang Dorothy Matheba who is also known as Queen B was born on the 25th of June, 1984 in Mahikeng, North West, South Africa to both Andrew Gampi Matheba and Charlotte Mokoena, a senior Human Resources Executive at Sasol. Bonang lived in the city she was born in Mahikeng for a few years before her family relocated to Johannesburg.
After her family’s relocation to Johannesburg, she attended Fourways High School which is a prestigious public school. In 2007, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Johannesburg.
Career
In 2002, at the age of 15, Queen B made her debut in the South African entertainment scene with her TV appearance in Manhattan Fantasy Challenge. Since then she has gone on to be one of South Africa’s finest stars. She had a stint at YFM and Metro FM.
